IAB Intersections 2024: one year on, at stand 9
On 29 and 30 October 2024 CleverAd returned to Allianz MiCo for IAB Forum Intersections: B2C and B2B lead generation, email marketing and a year of growth to talk about.
On 29 and 30 October 2024 CleverAd returned to Allianz MiCo in Milan for IAB Forum Intersections, the first edition bringing together IAB Forum and the Art Directors Club Italiano creativity festival: marketing, creativity and technology in the age of artificial intelligence, in a single event. This time we were at stand 9.
Compared with our 2023 debut we had much more to show: more than 16,000 leads generated per month, over 70 active campaigns every month, a network grown to more than 500 publishers and influencers.
Email marketing as a cornerstone
At the stand we presented full-spectrum lead generation, B2C and B2B: social ads on Meta and TikTok, SMS marketing on more than one million contacts, display advertising, proprietary landing pages and a chatbot to qualify leads. At the centre, email marketing on a base of 7 million contacts.
«Email marketing remains one of the cornerstones of our lead generation strategy. Our DEM partners are selected very carefully, to make sure emails reach the right target at the right moment», explained Linda Lo Turco, Digital Media Planner. And on the way we work: «Our in-house model lets us respond immediately to any client need and constantly optimise campaign performance» (quotes translated from Italian).
Data handled the way it should be
One theme we stressed with every advertiser we met was compliance. «Being GDPR compliant is essential, not only to protect users' data but also to offer our clients a level of security and reliability that few competitors can guarantee», said Luca Lo Bascio, CEO.
2024 closed with fourth-quarter revenue 2.7 times that of the first, more than one million euros of budget managed and three new team members across sales, media planning and social buying. Intersections was the last of the year's three events, after Netcomm Forum and WMF.
